CYANOGENMOD? Worth it?

Is it worth to flash Cyanogenmod to my s3? Better then touchwiz?
if i do (flash cyanogenmod) and i dont like it, how do i remove it? or is it permanent?
I dont know what to do, i am very confused, please help...

Is your phone rooted?

If it is and you want to try out vanilla android, you should totally flash it. Before flashing anything to your phone you should do a nandroid backup of the ROM you're using. That way, if you don't like what you flashed you can just restore the previous ROM and everything will be as is before you flashed the new ROM.
