I tried to root my Inspire last night because I am interested in flashing Cyanogenmod, but I didn't get very far. I was on the Cyanogenmod wiki following the directions to get the ROM, and I was trying to make a goldcard, but since I have a Mac, I was not able to get past the step with the hex editor. Is there a way for me to get Cyanogenmod on my phone without Windows? I asked this in another topic and was told that there are no Windows specific steps. Am I missing something? Thanks in advance.

Try the Ace Hack Kit on xda, or Bubby323's method.

Ace Hack Kit worked really well. Rooted phone is amazing. Thank you again.
