D3 Flash/Camera problem

Well the D3 has been great but so far the issue I see is the led flash on the camera. It has a blue hue to it which washes out the image in blue. Not using the flash inside gives a grainy picture but in the proper color. outside pics look ok but once transferred to a computer they look pixelated.

Am I missing something here as this is disturbing my calm with the wife(her phone) as she looked at my pics on my DX and is wondering why mine look better. She even said her OG Droid took better pics.

I had my son take a pic with his D3 inside with flash on and his pic gave the same nasty blue hue.

Is this something VZW should be made aware of or do I need to go straight to Moto to express my concern?

Anyone else with a D3 having this issue or did they both get a bad camera on the same day at the same time?

so nobody else has this problem with their camera?

Anyway here's the update/thread I created on the Droid Owners Forum

ant other info from the AC community would be appreciated..

I havnt taken very many pictures with my D3 yet, but I have noticed this on dark indoor shots.

So, I downloaded Camera360 pro to test something, since I couldn't find the settings in the stock camera.

Here is the standard blue hue that everyone is complaining about, set on Auto.

and here, I've set it to adjust for flourescent lighting.

So, either you need to download a camera app with these settings, or wait for moto to fix their camera with the proper settings.

My belief is this: you shouldn't have to buy/download an app to fix a new phone as this shouldn't be happening in the first place IMHO

after reading reviews on the marketplace i'll pass on that app..

After messing with the flash, i still believe it is the plastic over the lens. The flash but be too bright because if you cover it up there wont be a blue tinit. Or take a photo in normal light with no flash and there is no tinit.

I have been picking at the plastic over the lens, it will come off, but I am afraid of ruining it!!!

Can somebody please write exactly what settings in camera 360 ultimate need to be adjusted to get rid of the blue tint.
