Android Central Question
Hi all,
I have a Nexus 6, with Nougat installed, a Huawei Watch 2 Classic with Oreo and a pair of Sony Bluetooth Headphones. In an ideal state, I would like to connect my bluetooth to my watch, and my watch to my phone.
I was reading that you can separate from your phone with the Wear OS as long as both have a signal (Wifi/cell for phone and Wifi for Watch). I wanted to see if I was away from my phone, but still connected via Wifi, if I am able to stream and take phone calls through my watch, then to my bluetooth headphones.
I like the idea of the watch being able to separate from the phone, but "tethered" via wifi, but cant seem to get the bluetooth to play music from my phone, bounced to my watch then to my headphones. I havent tried to take a call yet, but figured if the music didnt work the call probably would not either.
Has anyone got this sort of setup to work?
