I have the galaxy s3 I live in Irving Texas I have 4g coverage and it's fast from what I can tell

I live in McKinney and work in Plano. Both home and house are covered according to the Sprint Coverage map, but my phone rarely connects. It was working at home one night and was getting 10 Mbps down and 2 Mbps up. Starting to make me really mad that they say I'm covered but my phone never connects.
