Damn This Phone Heats Up Fast!

I was talking to a nice little 23 year old for about 20 minutes. I started noticing that my ear was getting hot as crap! Ugggh!! Is anyone else seeing the same issue?

Only when i play games and it is plugged in. Other then that never had a problem.

Hmmm. I haven't noticed this. However, my old Palm Pre used to be like a little oven, even browsing web pages.

Same here. My former Pre got warm quick, so when the EVO does it's no big deal.

my EVO never gets hot. my guess is that it was you heating up over the girl and not the EVO.

mine gets pretty warm too. i haven't noticed it while talking on it but then again, i don't to that much talking on this thing

i was at a picnic saturday (91 degrees out) and the phone was just in my pocket and when i took it out it felt like it was going to catch fire. had me a little concerned even though nothing was running

I called sprint tech support who told me to take the phone back to the store. Called the store that I bought it from and told me that they might have some replacements in tomorrow and to call them and check. Uuuggh!
