Dark Screen Phone Calls

I was using the stock (5.0) screen brightness with adaptive turned on. When receiving phone calls, the screen would become almost black, but I could barely still see the phone screen. This has happened twice now. I re-installed my Lux app and it works great. Not sure if this is yet another 5.0 bug or not.
