Yeah I understand that but the problem is cricket won't let people with flashed android plans get on the 55 android plan. So was looking for a work around. As an example when I log onto my cricket account on a pc and try to upgrade to the android plan its all greyed out.

You have to call them or go to the store and get them to add it. They will let you update your plan with web. You should search through Howardforums in the Cricket forum and you'll find a lot more info and see that people have Android plans on their Droids.

You should be able to have them change the phone type in CID to "CPE Android" and get setup on the $55 plan. That's exactly what it was introduced into the system for. I would say go to a physical store instead of calling. It shouldn't matter whether its corporate store or authorized/premiere dealer.
