Dashclock -- Can't get Phone dialler extension to open Direct Dial

Hi,

I'm new to Android. I just got a Nexus 5 with the latest Kitkat, and the latest version of Dashclock widget. I want to hit the Open Phone icon and get it to go directly to All Contacts. I have enabled this in the settings, and also in the settings in the Dashclock Settings widget, but it won't do it. If I change the settings in both to Open Phone App, it goes to the dial pad in the phone app, but that defeats the purpose to me. Any ideas?
