Dashclock lockscreen widget

I had a question about this widget and wondering why its not working as expected.

Currently i have it set as my main lockscreen widget, however all the other information (emails texts weather) is all "greyed out" and up to the right of the time. In order to get the full details i have to click the widget and pull down to somewhat expand the info. Is that how it is supposed to work? or should this be expanded all the time? I can't figure it out.

Can you take a screenshot please...just haven't seen the same behavior in it before

around 30 seconds in this video he says that what i'm seeing is how its supposed to be because hes on a custom ROM

That Its supposed to show like that and then expand when we want to see the details. Kind of a bummer but still a great lockscreen widget
