data speeds with eb13

My download speed was 438kb Max and my upload speed was 124kb Max.

I watched the upload test and I was more around the 65 range. What gives.

Just stepped outside. 527/219 download/upload.

Both loactions read full 3g signal.

Welcome to Sprint... Actually I think your going to get varying speeds no matter what your carrier provider is these days. Sure they are improving technology but at the same time more and more phones are added each day cutting into the signal along with hotspots, wireless access and everything else in the world.. One minute things are great next minute the bottom falls out...

Thought they'd be a little higher. I still get that eb13 data big. Its really annoying.

Sometimes I have to toggle airplane to get it to load data. I tried the reset after update zip and have flashed with odin since then. didn't seem to help.

My speeds vary a LOT. They can be a honky-dory 1200kbps at 5:15pm and 128kbps at 5:17pm. It has nothing to do with the ROM, kernel, or number of bars...or even (to a certain extent) location.

Both tests were 3g speeds.

3g/4g are always going to be inconsistent. The only reliable speed that will stay constant is if your running wireless off your home/works wireless router. Even then your at the mercy of the ISP.

Just checked mine at 7:30 pm in Bolingbrook, IL on my EB13 Froyo Epic...

3g is 1197 kbps download and 364 kbps upload.

4g is 2967 kbps download and 658 kbps upload.

Bolingbrook, Il. huh? Right in my backyard there friend. My parents live in Bolingbrook still...

I'm right down the street in Plainfield.

Anyways, Bolingbrook,Il. does seem to have a strong link to Sprint. 4g speeds are usually very well as you can tell and 3g isn't bad either.
