Is there a way of making it so the phone doesn't automatically turn wifi on whenever it finds a wifi source?
Also, my 4g is constantly turning on and looking for a 4g source even though I don't have one.

Make sure you have Sprint Connections Optimizer diabled. Settings > More Settings > Mobile Networks > Connections Optimizer. I always have it turned off, it just eats up battery life and does not run with any intelligence at all.

To kill the 4g after disabling the connections optimizer, turn wifi off then toggle 4g off:beer:
