data usage moniter

im unlocked and rooted. i have wireless tether installed to tether here and there. i just got a data usage warning notification and i noticed in the list of apps, it said tether and portable hotspot had used 136mb. wireless tether showed almost no usage way at the bottom of the list. isnt that the stock tethering app? why is that app showing its using data?
