Data use

Just got a trxt from verizon saying i have used 75% of my data for the month. There is no chance ive used that much so I called verizon and she looked up when the usage happened... she didnt know what it was but it started happening around 7am on the 2nd and every other hr after that sonthibg would pull betwee 200 and 400 mb of data throughout the day. Anyone else have the happen?

Haven't had that happen myself (anything using a lot of data unexpectedly). But check your phone's data usage (Menu, Settings, Data Usage), scroll down and see what app or apps are using the most data. You can slide the vertical bars on the graph to narrow or expand the time period. It will give you a general idea of what's using data.

Go to Settings->Data Usage and scroll down to the list of apps that have used data. Its ordered by most used first so it should be easy to see what app is causing this.

Thats the thing... none of the numbers here match up with what verizon is telling me I have used

And verizon is sayving ive used 1.5ish...the data use on my phone has never been off before...

Seems she's BSing you as well. If it's not matching up with what your phone data usage shows on ur phone then I would escalate this to a higher level customer service supervisor

I really thought it was me I got a text this morning saying that I used up 50% of my data usage
