Does unlimited data really matter anymore? If it doesn't then I'll get the gs3. Otherwise I'll wait till the next nexus is available in the play store.

Depends on how much you use every month and how many devices you have on the account.. For instance I use about 5GB every month.. and that's without streaming stuff like music and videos which really eats up bandwidth. But since most of my data usage is when I'm home, I can connect to Wifi and normally keep it under 2GB.
So you can pay $30 for unlimited (not including text/talk) while you still have it, or switch to one of the new plans.
1GB.. $50
2GB.. $60
4GB.. $70
6GB.. $80
8GB.. $90
10GB.. $100
All data plans include unlimited talk/text.

The best answer would be to calculate the prices based on your set up and see if it's worth losing unlimited data.
Compare what you're paying now, see how much data you use every month, minutes, text, etc to one of the new plans and see what's best for you.

I have. I use the wifi in my house all the time, along with my wife and daughter. Together we don't use more than 3gb. I'm not saving much at all. Maybe $10 a month if I switch.

Is that a Share Everything plan price? So for 10 GB it would be $100 + an extra $40 for a phone connection and $10 for a tablet? If so, that's where my issue comes in with the pricing.

Edit: I confirmed that it would be $100 for the 10 GB of data (if needed) and $50 for a 4G tablet and smartphone on the plan. With some sort of corporate discount, I wouldn't mind this. I won't be switching anytime soon but probably will at upgrade time.
