Date not displaying on watch face.

I have a new LG Watch Urbane. Setup went smoothly. However, no matter which watch face I select the date is never displayed on the watch face. I can drag from the top of the watch face to see the date but it never displays on the watch face itself. Any ideas? I've checked all settings to try to change this.

Welcome to Android Central! Which watchfaces have you tried? Open the Android Wear app on your phone, and look at the watchface that's currently installed--is there a settings gear on it? If so, tap it, and see if there are customization options to show or hide the date.
