Date not updating on calendar icon

My wife and recently switched from iPhones to the G2. So far we are both very happy. Just some minor things to get used. My wife is having a probem with the date that is displayed on the caledar app icon is not updating. Mine will show the correct day and date, but hers doesn't. Any suggestions on a fix.

Delete and move it back. I had the exact same thing happen and that fixed me right up!
