Date on pictures taken by LG G3

Is it possible to have dates on pictures taken by LG G3? Did not see a setting for it in the camera settings.

From what I understand, the date being included in the first part of the file name is default and I don't see any way of changing that.

I'm pretty sure you have to use an app from the Play store. Search for Date Stamp or Camera Date Stamp. There's plenty of them, but I have no idea which ones are good. You'll have to go by trial and error.

I do not believe there is a way for the stock camera to attached the date and time stamp on the picture. Although, I've been wrong before...

Oh, I guess I misunderstood what was being asked here. They want the date to physically be embedded into the image as text.

That's a completely different story, and requires an additional application, as scottysize mentioned.
