Trying to get Dashclock widgets on my lockscreen. I'm supposed to swipe until a blank screen appears with a "+" sign? No screen with a "+" sign ever appears. Also, How do I take a screen capture?

Lock your phone and unlock it, drag from the clock down and there should be a transparent box, now swipe to the left. There's the +

no clock, no transparent box. Just screen after screen of apps. I figured out the screenshot, thanks....didn't realize that it takes a few seconds.

When I press and hold the lockscreen clock, nothing happens.

Weird. When I tap on the clock and drag it down, I see this.

Figured it out:

Lock screen widgets were first introduced to Android last November with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, but in Google?s latest KitKat release, they?re disabled by default. But don?t worry ? they haven?t been killed off altogether; you just need to enable them again if you want to use them.

Here?s how.

Open up the Settings app and tap ?Security?
Tap ?Enable Widgets?
Go to your lock screen, then swipe over to the left and tap the plus symbol
Pick the widget you?d like to add to your lock screen
