daydream on the s8

So all the Google vr stuff is updated on my s8 and it says it's daydream compatible but I can't install the actual daydream app do I need to wait for the full os update to come down first. I'm in the uk

IF you've received the OS update to the phone making it Daydream-compatible then try rebooting it or force-stopping PlayServices (or clearing cache). It seems the update is rolling out but the 'switch' from Google is also slowly 'flipping', so not all users are seeing the Daydream compatibility on Google's side yet (but it's coming, so if the above doesn't work, wait until it's active for you).
