I don't know how it happened but I got a few scuffs on the back of my G3. I had the Spigen Ultra Hybrid installed, who knows?

Anyways, I've been following MKBHD and he recommends using Skins rather than Cases, so I figured why not try it now that the damage is done.

So being a Steelers fan I ordered a Yellow Back Skin from brand. I got it last night and installed it. Honestly, it took a while to get used too but I love it. I'll post pics later.

I sold the Spigen for $10.

The iPad I'm using at Apple Store is pale...

I am interested. I hate cases and would never use one unless I was going on a trip and needed a ZeroLemon or something like that.

A skin on the other hand... Checking out the dbrand website now!

I am thinking about buying a green back for my White G3. Just the back, no accents or front.

I really like the skin I think it looks great. If you don't mind me asking what is the price for something like that. I would love to get one myself, also being a steelers fan.

Looks good, have been thinking about using a skin for a while, however I would have to get it shipped to Scotland and hmm not worth it unless its a big order.

As far as I'm aware their is no retailers in Scotland doing the same thing.

Wow, $3.00 shipping to USA! My order is only $13.00. Was it easy to apply, bembol?

Hmm... What has the most grip... I'm guessing either the matte or leather skins.

I just put on the dbrand black carbon fiber. I was hoping to get a little more grip. It looks good but it doesn't provide any more grip than without.

It was very easy to put on. I followed the instruction video for the g3 on you tube.

Do these offer any impact protection or are they just for scratches?

No, just scratches. The back I got gave it a little more grip too.

Yes, it was. Like myersjesse said just follow the instruction video.

I'm also wondering about the grippyness. And the quality of the leather one. White leather might look great on mine. The green colored one I was considering might not have any grip.

Is your yellow one grippy at all?

ZAGG used to make skins but I think they gave up on it. I had a few of them on iPod touches back in the day and I think I'd be interested to use one on my G3 as well.

I use the phone naked (w/dbrand) on the weekend but put a case while at work. The dbrand skin does not interfere with any of the cases I own.
