De-Branding

Hey Guys, just got my G-Slate and i love it. One thing that I was wondering is, is there anyway way to remove the boot up/shut down animation. I come from nexus one and nexus s and i cannot for the life of me get used to carrier branding. Is there a way to debrand the slate and remove the animations?
