This sucks. What's worse is I just sold my Note 8 so I'm gonna be without a phone while this gets fixed/replaced.

I cant see the image through the app but wow that's not good news. How quick are they handling this?

I had to sell mynote 8 too. Wish I could've kept it

Happens to me all the time with Samsung phones, take it into TMobile and I get a new one the next day.

You should be able to do a warranty replacement and typically they send you the new device first then you send back the defective one so you won't be without a device.

If u have insurance on the phone. Most carriers send you one first and then you send your old one back within 10 days

Yes, although you have to let them put a hold on your credit card so they can charge you for the new phone if you don't send back the old one.

If you bought your phone from a carrier or major store such as Best Buy, you should be able to do an immediate in-store exchange for the defective phone (as long as you're within the initial exchange window, 14 days or whatever).

That's not a dead, but stuck pixel. Every once in a while, a stuck pixel can be fixed through various methods if you want to do some research.

Open the Samsung shop app, go to help. He is right, its stuck. The rep may be able to talk you through fixing it.

I had 2 s8+ with dead pixels. Verizon sent me a replacement within 2 days and you just ship your old one back. Phone only.
