Dead screen on mi mix 3

dropped my mi mix 3, the screen died. I want to replace it but there are so many different screens on ebay to choose from. I just want the original or as close to the original screen I can get. The mi mix 3 has an AMOLED screen from what I searched up. But I'm not sure what screen to get, there are LCD, "OLED LCD" which I have no idea why they're together. And also AMOLED LCD. I'm pretty sure LCD is the worse out of those, but I'm just really confused if these OLED LCD ones really are OLED or just LCD. Any help? I don't want my phone to look noticeably worse screen wise.

First, how do you know that the screen is damaged, rather than some other component - or simply a loose connector?

the top 10% of the screen only shows, with the far right side of it being a mish mash of pixels. later on it looked like the entire thing was bleeding something purple. Its for sure the screen. I was also able to swipe in the blackness of my screen, being able to see the top move with my swipes.
