Debris above camera

It seems like there is some debris (lent or something) above my camera in the flash ring part of the phone. Has this happened to anyone else? I think it got in through the small gap between the camera and the flash ring. I guess as long as it's not in the lens I should be okay, right?

Yes, you should be OK. If it were a problem, then you would have issues with photos, and possibly having a blur or obscure smug on the image.

Thanks! Eventually something was going to get stuck in there.

I love it! I have never owned such a nice smartphone. I think I have finally adjusted to the big screen. Thanks for asking!
That's good to hear. Prior to getting my Nexus 5, I had the Epic 4G Touch (S2 on Sprint) and though it would be too big at about 4.5". I go the Nexus 5 not knowing how I would like the larger screen, and love it.

Larger screens are not for everyone, but I think one can become accustomed to it very well :).

Let us know if you have any other questions.

I definitely like larger screens. Before this I had an LG Optimus L9 which had a 4.5" screen. I was trying to decide between the Nexus 5 and the Moto X (2014) but opted for the Moto X (2014) because of the slightly larger screen and the Cyber Monday deal.

Thanks! I will ask if I have any other questions.

My favorite thing about the new MotoX coming from the old model is the larger screen.

That's good. I know there have been some mixed feelings when it comes to the larger screen on the new Moto X compared to the 2013 model. Nevertheless, it's a remarkable device.

It is! Now that I am back to school I am commuting with it again. Of course I am getting more lent in the crack between the camera lens and flash. But oh well. That's going to happen.

Nothing around my camera but I have all kinds of crap in the slots around the speaker grill things. I keep meaning to try some canned air to blow them out or something but keep forgetting.

I was wondering where you mean?
The camera and lens look sealed in on mine (which had always been naked)
I fund a high powered blow on the grilles keeps them clean.

I get lent around the speaker grills as well. Canned air scares me because I am afraid it will blow the lent further into the phone.

It's the small crack between the camera lens and the LED lights. Lent keeps getting in but I am going to try to ignore it from now on. It's just my electronics OCD. :D
