It's the 11th and nothing on my un locked S 22U

Yeah for a while there Samsung was releasing the updates early and I guess I got spoiled

As always, you can look at sammobile.com to see which phones and which carriers have which updates. If you have a US unlocked (U1 model) phone, you don't have to wait for your carrier to release BVL1. You can download it to a PC using Frija, specifying a CSC that sammobile lists as having BVL1, then install it to your phone using Odin.

It's not just a security patch. There are several ways you can tell: (1) There's a U rather than S immediately before the bootloader number in the firmware version; (2) The release notes list stability improvements as well as security improvements; and (3) The Samsung Changelist (see sammobile.com) changed between BVK1 and BVL1, which doesn't happen when the update is just a security patch.
