I just noticed that an update and feature drop is available. Has anyone updated it and if they did, how'd it go?
There are several threads on it already discussing the features.I just noticed that an update and feature drop is available. Has anyone updated it and if they did, how'd it go?
A search brought up this: https://forums.androidcentral.com/showthread.php?p=6894688
Great post. I think I'll wait for a few more days to get more feedback from users that have worked with the feature drop before I try it. An update with these many changes makes me very cautious. Thanks for the help.
Here is a chart listing update features available on Pixel models.I'm not seeing adaptive sound anywhere on my Pixel 3 ... I search for "adaptive" in settings it only yeilds these:

Is this feature not coming to the 3 (didn't see the article mention it's omitted from any Pixel).

For you 3XL users out there, we're not getting it until the week of the 14th:

To clarify, that's for Pixel 3/3 XL phones from Verizon. The ones straight from Google already got the update.
Yeah, that's an interesting one. For example, I have the Pixel 5, but I bought it directly from Verizon Wireless. I'm waiting till Monday for the future drop!Hmm.... I bought the phone from Google and I don't have an update yet. I have Verizon as a carrier, but it's a Google purchased phone. Curious why the carrier matters...

Well ,yeah, that's what you and the article say. So I'm guessing that Verizon is doing some 5G network connectivity tweaking on their side.I'm actually not sure if it has to do with the phone being on Verizon or being FROM Verizon, but presumably the delay has to do with some kind of necessary carrier-side tweaks.
