Decided to keep the Moto 360

I had been debating whether I should get a smartwatch to replace my Garmin Vivosmart fitness band, and I decided to order one from Amazon to try out and return if it didn't meet my needs. My biggest issue was the cost of the smartwatch, and if it was worth it to me. When I first starting using the Moto 360 I was a bit flustered with swiping to the left, to the right, up, down, etc. But after I worked with the 360 for a few days I got the hang of how Android Wear worked. In the end, four features made me decide to keep the watch:

1) The ability to clearly and consistently see notifications on my 360. I'm older and have trouble reading very small print, but the notifications are big enough so I can easily read them.
2) Being able to easily switch watch faces is great! There are lots and lots of faces available online.
3) I love the fact I can make my own custom watch faces with the app called WatchMaker. This allows me to create a custom watch face for use during office hours, and a different watch face for when I go on my 3 mile walks. And yet another watch face for use on the weekends.
4) Watch battery life was a concern, but after using the Moto 360 for a week I'm pleasantly surprised at the battery level at the end of the day. I wear my watch for 24 hours before taking it off to charge it up for work. I leave it in the wireless charging dock for 2 hours and I'm fully charged for the day.

The Moto 360 is indeed an expensive item, but I've decided it's worth keeping for my daily activities.

It's a great device, glad you're enjoying it! I chose the Gear S2, and absolutely love it, for all the reasons you mentioned about the 360 above.

I have had the moto 360 (2015) for 3mths now and really like using it, more than I thought.
