Greetings,

Looking for opinions. I currently have an LG G Watch R and a Huawei Watch and am looking to buy something different.

I'm torn between the new LG Watch Sport and the Nixon Mission. The LG Watch Sport has more technical capability and (it seems) a better screen than the Nixon Mission, but the Mission, in my opinion, is just a better looking "sport" watch.....especially in orange.

So which should I pursue? All opinions and thought are valid.

Thanks!

Go to the shop. Pick them both up. You will know the answer. :-)

Good suggestion and I have had the opportunity to hold both devices.....didn't help, still a "push." What are you suggesting? Maybe I'm missing something.

Sounds a bit like you're leaning towards the Mission there... :-)

I am leaning a small bit towards the Mission but my decision right now is more emotional based on looks, really like the orange. However:

The Sport has NFC, the Mission does not (though I currently don't use any of the "pay" systems, nice to have the option).
The Sport has a better screen.
The Sport has LTE capability if I decide to use it, the Mission does not.

I can get either for the same price. Battery life seems equal. Both use the new Qualcomm processor. So, at this point, prefer the technical capabilities of the Sport, prefer the appearance of the Mission.

Neither. As a former very happy Moto360-2.0 user, The Android 2.0 release at least for the moto has been a complete failure for me. I have gotten over it mentally and now I just wear traditional watches, but still I have a hard time recommending Android Wear openly without at least some hesitation.

My 360 was only in service for 11 months. Something thats bricked by the developer after only 11 months gets a no vote from me.

So if your G watch R and Huawei still work... stick with them, they are great designs.

Thanks folks....appreciate the feedback. AW 2.0 is different. Took awhile for me to adjust but I'm OK with where Wear is going.

Ended up ordering the Nixon couldn't resist the orange model and got a great price during a 4th of July sale. I've had it for about a week and so far so good. The major differences between the Nixon and the Samsung are LTE and NFC. I wouldn't use the LTE and I'm not ready for NFC on a watch. I did gain waterproofing though and that is a valuable feature for me.
