I'm rocking the OG EVO, been a good phone, but it's nearly upgrade time. I have decided that the GNex is my next phone. What I haven't decided is if I stay with Sprint, on contract (unlimited everything) or get a GSM one off contract with the T-Mobile $30/month online option (100 minutes talk/unlimted text/5GB data). I know nothing about AT&T's no contract plan and have no real desire to go to Verizon. Price wise, I think the no-contract option wins with T-Mobile. The storage is smaller, but even with an 8GB microSD card in my EVO I never used all the space, so this is probably a moot point.

My biggest issue is coverage. Right now when I go home from school, my EVO is basically a paper weight, I live in a dead zone (read: very rural, BFE). I can drive 20 seconds out my driveway in any direction and instantly get more bars from Sprint. I know there are nearly no towers near me from any company though, and coverage maps pretty much are lies. I have heard about weak signal radios in the Verizon model, does that carry over to the Sprint model or unlocked model at all?

What is the general consensus with most people using a GNex, Sprint or unlocked? Thanks guys for your help, it is GREATLY appreciated.
