Decreasing Font Size

When using spare parts, I can select to have the text Extra Small, which I really enjoy but as soon as I leave Spare Parts, it all gets reverted back to normal and I absolutely HATE how large the font is. I like seeing a lot of information small rather then a little bit large, I have great eyes. Any suggestions would be great. (This includes everything from Settings Menus to Text Messages which Handcent can take care of)

Are you rooted? Have you considered changing your LCD density? Sounds like something you'd like.
