Hey guys, I looked around and did not see any where to really post this. As most of the threads don't include The Optimus S, a few with the V that I saw but.. If I am wrong please let me know and I will move it.
I have been messing with a few different apps to see what i could do for over clocking my Optimus and I Think I found system tuner to work best so far that works well for it. It allows you to adjust the CPU gov and freqs both, among a lot of other tweaks.I have gotten near 850MHz 745-822 be a consistent avg. with no problems other than a bit of heating up with extended periods of time i.e.Going all out and running with 5 to 6 apps together. Running and had no freeze ups just a few force closures for about 1.5 hrs. I was running "Power Amp" Full blast through my head unit in my truck while running Phantom Alert with another app that we are working on that shows you all available traffic cameras through the mass transit departments system. (You'd be surprised most mass trans systems have 3 to 4x as many tap-able cameras than does DOT) shows each intersection or freeway entrance you about a .5 mile ahead you on your estimated route from each intersection Its kinda similar to Phantom Alerts camera system but alot more intuitive as it is the sole purpose for this application right now.
Oh and received at least 3 phone calls which i took over the stereo system. Hope this helps some of you There are alot of bells and whistles do some research and tinkering of your own and you'll get the hang of it. Both the free and paid version are available in the market. To be honest the free one works great so.:-$
