Default Email

can you change the default email on the android with out resetting the phone or losing data? I just made one up in the store to activate the phone and i don't want to use it, i have made an account i acuatlly like the name on.

I assume you are asking whether you can change the gmail account without resetting the phone. I think the answer is no. You cannot re-associate the phone with another gmail account without a reset.

BUT . . .

I would try adding the gmail account with the name you like first. Then try to delete the account you don't want anymore. That might work. If not, then you're going to have to do the reset.

i tried lol it didnt like that it tells you that you have to lose all data associated witht that account oh well maybe i will just take the plunge
