Default Mail app notifications sound locked - greyed out

I'm able to change main notifications sound here -
Settings/Sound/Default Notifications/Sound Name

The Mail app that comes with the phone (which is terrible BTW) ignores this.
It has a setting on a Per-Account Basis here -
Email/Menu/Settings/AccountName/Notification Settings

The problem is - the "Select Ringtone" parameter here is locked down - greyed out - cannot be changed.
It keeps playing the awful default "(Dew Drops)" whilst globally I've set the phone to another sound as above - Settings/Sound/Default Notifications/Sound Name(Postman)

Any clues? I probably just need to install a better Mail app anyway. Almost everything default (app , sound, setting) on this phone is awful - what were they thinking?

Make sure your phone isn't on vibrate. I was having the same problem and as soon as I took the phone off vibrate and went back into the setting it wasn't grayed out anymore.
