Default storage location for email/message attachments

I'm unable to find a setting in the Note 10+ to set the default for message and email photos to be saved to the SD card instead of the phone. Did Samsung remove this option?

They're normally saved to /Downloads. That's hard-wired into the phone if there's no setting in the email or text app.

No, there isn't any setting. Seems I have to use a file manager to move photos sent as attachments to the SD card.
