Is there a way to set wide-angle as default front camera?

I rarely take solo shots of myself, mostly use the front camera for group selfies.

During the rare times I take an actual solo selfie, I want a lot of background in the photo. I switch to wide-angle almost all the time.

You should provide feedback to Google about that; seems like a completely reasonable request for some setting in the Camera application.
