Defective Tab s4 S Pen

Hi,

I bought a new Galaxy Tab S4 and straight out of the box I noticed the S Pen had a loose shaky body. It felt like the internal electronics was loose within the housing. When I used the pen, the contact would activate about 8mm from the screen and pressure sensitivity does not work.

I will be returning it, but has anyone else seen this problem?

I have an S4 and S3. Both pens work as advertised. Did you contact Samsung regarding their pen? Was this a used purchase where the pen may have been damaged by the previous owner? I know you said 'new' but wasn't sure you didn't mean new to you. With the S4 pen our dog chewed both ends. Always wondered what was inside of those pens. Now, I know:'( Looking to buy a new one (unfortunately).
