Delay of widgets

soooo this is new to me...for the past few days when i go into the phone from either locked screen, exiting out from an app or whatever etc etc....theres a 2-3 second of a delay for all the widgets to appear.

i didnt do anything new, i didnt add anything, it used to work perfectly fine and pop up right away. i took off some apps i wasnt using but this was during the widget delay.

my phone is not rooted or anything like that, its stock.

do i still need to mention its a gnex when im specifically in the gnex forums?? lol

any suggestions or ideas? thank you

Trying doing power cycle or battery pull.

I've had that happen occasionally, it's usually after my phone hadn't been cycled in several weeks. Sometimes it fixes itself, but usually a power cycle gets it back to normal. If you are still having delays after a power cycle then think back on what apps you recently added, one or more may be the cause. Remove the offending apps.
