Delete Email on phone but not in Outlook?

Is there a way I can delete an email on my phone but keep it in my mailbox on my computer/sever? ie, work emails that I dont need on my phone but I need to keep them in my Outlook

If it's an IMAP server, you can simply switch to POP3. If it's Exchange, it is not actually possibly as far as I know. Hope this helps.

Not if everything stays in your inbox. A separate folder for saved mail might work for you.

A program such as Touchdown could be configured to leave the messages on the server - at least I see a function for that in my Touchdown settings.

Open Email, Menu button, Settings, click on your outlook.com email, scroll down to "more settings", Incoming Settings, "delete email from server" choose your option. Its been working for me.

Thanks for the replies. I use exchange. I don't have this option in my email :-/
