Hello guys, I need your help. Im on Xiaomi Mi 12X running "xiaomi.eu_multi_XM12X_V14.0.10.0.TLDCNXM_v14-13" rom and I messed up badly with my launcher.

I wanted to update it using Lucky Patcher. Downloaded apk file from apkmirror and installed it, but I guess I picked wrong one so after system rebooted I wasn't able to to do anything except accessing notification bar and android settings - somehow I managed to open Play Store and downloaded app called "Olauncher" which brougt me back access to other apps. Then I tried to update default miui launcher one more time but this time thing went much worse since I wasn't able to boot to system - it hang at black loading screen with MIUI icon.

At this moment I knew that I was in a big trouble since my priority was avoiding wiping whole data with factory reset. I tried to update rom via fastboot downloading newest miui eu rom possible which was "xiaomi.eu_PSYCHE_OS1.0.13.0.TLDCNXM_13". It didn't helped so I tried to downgrade back to "V14.0.10.0.TLDCNXM".

It wasn't fixed by itself so I started to look around in TWRP File Manager to find any leftovers from my launcher but found nothing both in data/data and system_root/system/priv-app/ unfortunatlely there was no sign of com.miui.home

After that I thought that maybe I can push those folders and files into place just to pass boot loading screen and fix it again by using Olanuncher but that is the moment when things started acting strange. I tried using both TWRP File Manager and adb push method. Second one was way more successful giving me this result

Code:
C:\platform-tools>adb push MiuiHome /system_root/system/priv-app
<br>MiuiHome\: 1 file pushed, 0 skipped. 54.2 MB/s (16149919 bytes in 0.284s)
)

Unfortunately after reboot into recovery there was no sign of that folder at all. I tried to copy or delete different folders into data/data or system_root/system/priv-app but no matter what I was doing, every change was undone after reboot. Tried to mount system partition, making it RW, but nothing helped, every move that I make was forgotten after the restart.

If there is anything that I can do to save my phone? Begging you for help, I'm so lost right now :(

Welcome to the forums.

TWRP File Manager
TWRP used to be a custom recovery. Is this something different? If it is a recovery, did you make a Nandroid backup of the OS?

I wanted to update it using Lucky Patcher
I've always hated Luck Patcher. It's the equivalent to bolting something onto your car's engine without really knowing what it does.

What were you trying to update? The device itself?

If you don't have a backup, and can't boot into the OS, I think you are at the point where you need to flash the stock OS.

Yes, TWRP as a custom recovery is installed on default on miui EU roms, which are slightly modified version of stock xiaomi OS. Unfortunately, I don't have any backup :(

That is quite an accurate comparison :ROFLMAO: It worked for me though until that one day...

I guess that you are right... Thanks for your help anyway, I really appreciate that
