Deleted Google account. Unable to get rid of Account action required notification.

I have a Samsung Note 3 and I recently logged into an old account on youtube to find an old video I used to watch. When I logged in I got a notification that was asking for permission for picassa to be accessed, to which I aggreed, however the notification didn't go away, it stayed in my notification bar and when I clicked on it it loaded for maybe a second before nothing happened and it would close, leaving the notification. Being impatient and stubborn I deleted the account, hoping that would solve the problem, however it just seemed to remove one and create another. Now I have an eternal notification that is asking me to log into an account that doesn't exist. How do I get rid of it without disabling Google Play Notifications? (Google Play Services is the app asking for me to log in again)

Go into settings then to device- sound and notifications then find notifications go to apps once there scroll until you find google app and google play go into each and select none then the notification should dissapear. Took me playing with my phone a lot to figure this out but I finally got it! Hope this helps.

I found a solution. Go to your gmail app, swipe from the left and click on the little arrow pointing down next to you name and click manage accounts, click on google, choose your account, click on more and click remove account. Your welcome :D

I made an account here with the sole purpose to be able to thank you for this answer. That notification was driving me insane, thank you so much!
