Deleted My Google Account

Today I decided to delete my Google account without thinking that it was my primary account on my LG Optimus V. Well, it keeps on trying to sync, but of course it cant. It keeps on displaying an error message. When I try to delete the account, it says I would have to factory reset. How do I delete the account off my phone without factory reset? :-\
