Deleting a ringtone?

Re: Deleting a ringtone? (PERMANENTLY)

I used Ringtone Remover to try and get rid of my S3's pre-installed ringtones. Appeared to work fine But next time I switched the phone on they were all back. They are clearly reloaded automatically at startup.
Many other things are reloaded by the same start up process so playing about could cause major problems. I also don't want to root my phone.
I see that Delete Ringtone has been recommended.
Does anyone know if that app PERMANENTLY removes or hides the pre-installed ringtones or will they just reappear next time the phone is booted up?

I have the Galaxy s5. I create my own Ringtones off MP3's on my device.
I found the custom ring tones:
My Files>Media>Audio>ringtones
To get to "My Files" From your Home Screen:
(On the bottom of your screen (Task Bar) you should see an icon called "Apps" it looks like a grid of boxes. On my phone it is located at the bottom right. Do the following to get to My Files:
Apps>My Files.
If you use another File Explorer program, the actions above should be similar. I suppose I will download another file explore program just to test it out.
