deleting hotmail email account or fix my problem

I just got the moment and really love it so far. However I have a problem with my hotmail email account. I have gmail and use it for my main email. But I have a hotmail that I use for my home business and msn messanger. After I set up the hotmail account I realized it won't check the emails on its on. I have it set at the lowest to check every 5 mins, however it will only check when I go in manually and click on tje inbox. It will not show up on the notification bar. I thought maybe I should delete it then set it up again. But I can't figure how to delete a email account.

1. Question 1: how do u delete hotmail email account or any email account from the list.
2. Question 2: does anyone have this problem? Is there a easy fix to the nification issue and get it to check the email and notify of news ones just like the gmail does?

My old touch diamond was very good with the email google and hotmail hoping I can fix this... for my home business its essential I can get my hotmail.

I had my hotmail account set up for a short time. I had an issue where it would keep all my emails as "new" when I already read them. To delete the accounts on your phone, all you need to do is hard press on the account and there should be an option to delete account. Not 100% sure though since I haven't had a hotmail account on my phone for a while.

go into your account on your phone the hotmail inbox. press menu > account settings . make sure email notifcations is checked . click incoming server settings and where it says delete email from server make sure it says when i delete from inbox. these are my settings on my hotmail account except mine is the main...

To the one who actually tried to answer my question thank you very much... to the other.. putting quotes that mean nothing doesn't help at all.

I did figure both my questions

1. To delete a email that is already set up... just press and hold the account name and a menu pops up with option to delete.

2. I had to purchases hotmail plus for 20 bucks a year.

Well worth the 20 bucks it works now!
