Deleting SmartNews categories

I use smart news as a news reader. Somehow two categories got in the list. The plus key does not remove them. Please advise how to get rid of those two categories. Thanks

Can you long press on a category to see if that presents a menu to edit and/or delete the category? I just checked their website and don't see any support pages or faqs. If you visit the Play Store listing you'll find an option to email the developer. Perhaps that could be a feature you can email them about if it's not supported within the current build of the app.

"edit channel order"
Remove check mark
