Deliver to another region ?

Hi, I am based in Europe and I want to order a Google Pixel 2 xl on Google store with a shipment address in US. This phone is not yet available in my country. The address belongs to a friend who is going to travel to Europe soon and will bring the phone for me.

My question is if I give his address as the delivery address can he pick up the package from the post office or receive it at home? Do Google send the package recommended ? Do Google put my name as the recipient? How delivery usually work in US?

It depends on which delivery courier is used. Your best bet is to call Google.

Send it to his address with his name, pay with your credit card and use your address as billing address.
