I ordered a set of three cases off ebay for $ 12 and they all work fine. Came from China.

I've ordered 3 silicone ones from case-mate, got a letter from customs yesterday... Looks like I'll have to pay even more now... *grumble*

And they're awesome. A LOT better than the PDair one I got off of ebay. Huzzah!

I have a ROOTS leather belt case I got for my Motorola Quench that's made for iPhone 3G and the Quench fits perfectly in there, but when I put the Desire in there it's about 5mm taller and if I put the Desire in face inwards the flip strap pushes down on the power button, the power button is a bit too easy to push.

I need to find a case that's a little taller than this one, I think the height of this case is 115mm and the Desire is 119mm, otherwise the Desire fits perfectly in there.

And as for skins, got one from this guy that's from Vancouver

Hi all. Just dropped my iPhone for a Desire and am loving it so far.
Looking for a screen protector akin to the Power Support anti-glare/no smudge I used to have on my 3gs, does anyone have anything they can recommend me? I've seen a few on eBay obviously, but want something decent!

Also, has anyone used the HTC branded pouches at all?! I think they're numbered PO-S491 and PO-S521 (or similar).
What I want to know is.... does the top of the Desire stick out enough for the notification light to still be visible when in the case?

Thanks in advance

I'm using the iZound screen protectors. They're really good. Easy to apply, and if you get it wrong or it gets dirty underneath, you just wash it and try again. It provides moderate anti-glare as well.

Mugen battery offers a hard shell and spring lock holster. It is under the 3200 m battery but comes with a standard size shell as well for around $26.00 i think this on is better than the sedio ones.

I just recently got my desire and I am wondering if a case for a nexus one will work with the desire as they are pretty much the same size? I was looking at getting a seidio rugged one as I am usually around a warehouse environment at work.

Zagg + Otterbox

I use the Zagg Invisible shield with the Otterbox defender series case and could not be happier with both products.

The review on the Otterbox site gives a detailed description of use with the Zagg full body maximum coverage protection kit, however this is not a problem when only using the full body easy or screen coverage kits. The case cost $50 but is well worth it. I watched a friend slam the trunk door of their s.u.v. on a blackberry with a defender series case on it, the case has two nice size chunks missing from it but the phone surprisingly had no damage. Fortunately I haven't dropped or slammed my desire in a car door yet, but hopefully it will hold up as well as my friends blackberry case did.

Probably Not

Unfortunately The Nexus One case from Seidio does not appear to be compatible with the HTC Desire. While the USB port, camera/flash/back speaker, front speaker, power button, headphone jack and microphone seem to be in the same location on both phones there are a few differences. Along with the addition of physical buttons and an optical track pad, the Desire is also 0.2mm wider and 0.4mm deeper than the Nexus One, and the bottom of the Desire is curved up while the Nexus One is curved downward

If the Seidio Nexus One case is capable of fitting on the Desire the physical buttons on the Desire will be covered up by the "Innocase II Surface" and the track ball opening on the case may not line up with the optical track pad on the phone because of the upward curve on the bottom of the Desire.
