Desire HD volume

Hi everyone,

I have just gotten a HTC Desire HD. Its my 1st HTC & 1st android phone. Everything is very good except for the all the sound volume (Speaker phone, voice call, ringtone etc.) Its quite soft compare to what I am used to.

I would like to know if there are any apps or method to make (tweak) so that the volume is louder? I've heard a lot of people saying about rooting but I am still not prepared to root my phone.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Same here. My girl has the Desire and I got the HD. Her ringtone, speakerphone volume is noticably louder than mine... Wondering if the speaker is just weaker than the regular Desire or the default setting is just really low.

HTC DHD volume really sucks.
I also have a HTC Touch HD and the volume is great and it's also easy to find tweaks to rise the volume.
If anyone knows how to make the volume louder, pls post.
