Desktop manager & Active Call Question

Is there an Android counterpart to Blackberry Desktop Manager?
When you are on an active call on the Fascinate, there is no timer showing you how long the call is lasting. Is there an app that will add this? If I'm put on death hold, I find it hard to confirm that the call is still active.

Um, when I place a call, it certainly shows a timer under the contact. I took this pic just now...

Not exactly, but "DoubleTwist" does a fair job if media sync is what you need. There is a desktop client and a Android app. You can sync music - including iTunes playlists - and other media. It has Android Market section , but doesn't let you install from there. (By the way "AppBrain" with "Fast Web Installer" is what you want for that if you don't already have it)

DoubleTwist has a good "Subscriptions" area that you can subscribe to and sync podcasts with if you are into that. It does video podcasts very well in the app BTW.

There are probably other desktop clients out there too that do the job ..
