Basically you need to fastboot a recovery on to your phone and adb push a Rom to the sdcard.

If that fails, you revert to stock and start over.

I can do it on Ubuntu but not a Mac so hopefully someone sees this!

Go for a hail mary and just pull the battery out, see if that will get you going once you put the battery in again. If not pressing volume up/down and power button will get you into the bootloader for more options in Recovery. If that don't work check the stickies here for some help.

Yea thanks guys. Iv puled the battery and tried rebooting and reinstalling backups. I have decided i have to go back to stock. I know theres a way to do this on a mac I'm just not sure how, also i don't have fast boot or adb on the mac so id have to start from the beginning.

I'm not at a computer so I can't really type it out right now. But d posted a revert to404 with fast boot tbread last night that will walk ya thru it

Hey guys. Figured it out reverted back to stock unrooted. Then rooted again to get ally bean. Boot loop started while I was on a plane and now no cable or internet because of a storm in the Baltimore area. Bad weekend for tech. But have jelly bean running well now!

Same deal with the storm. I'm not flashing anything other than kernels until I get power. Too risky.

I'm sorry, but lying like that is lame. You broke it? You fix it. That's the only way to learn. If you can't do that, then you have no business modding your phone.

Jelly Bean is not for the faint of heart, unfortunately.

Also looks like unless Verizon updates our galaxy nexus then only the people that have unlocked nexus in the country now will get it. Thanks Apple for the injunction. Not that it effects us at all we obviously have them already
